In a post dated 14 August 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting The Manohar, Begumpet, on 13 August 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

  “⁠Expired food articles like Tooty fruity (09/2023), Karonda (04/2024), Mixed Fruit flavouring agent and English Mustard were found and discarded on the spot.”

• Records and certificates

  “Medical fitness certificates for food handlers and water analysis reports of RO plant were not provided by FBO.”

• Premises hygiene

  “⁠The drain inside the kitchen premises observed with water stagnation.”

• Labelling

  “⁠Raw and semi-prepared food articles were covered but not labelled properly.”

• Spoiled raw material

  “Spoilt vegetables like carrots, tomatoes, onions and coriander were found and discarded.”

• Pests

  “⁠Live cockroach infestation observed in the kitchen and store room.”

• Storage and refrigeration

  “⁠Bread prepared at the premises was stored in cold room without any cover.”
