Taaza Kitchen

In a post dated 7 March 2025, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Taaza Kitchen, Ameerpet, on 6 March 2025 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

• Records and certificates

  “Water Analysis Report and Fostac Certificates of supervisor not available.”

• Premises hygiene

  “Refrigerators were not maintained properly. Dustbins were found kept in open condition.”

• Labelling

  “Food articles in the refrigerator were found to be uncovered and unlabelled.”

• Storage and refrigeration

  “Semi-prepared and raw materials, food and non-food items were stored together. Few vegetables (tomatoes) found to be spoiled.”

• Other finding

  “Rusty iron knives were found being used for cutting of vegetables.”

• Storage and refrigeration

  “Storage was found to be small and congested. Several food articles were found to be stored on ground instead of pallets.”

• Spoiled raw material

  “Rice flour stored in a steel container was found to be infested with insects and hence discarded.”

• Records and certificates

  “Temperature records for the cold room were not maintained.”

• Food handlers

  “Some of the food handlers were found without hairnets, gloves etc.”
