Sri Lakshmi Grand Udupi Hotel

In a post dated 30 June 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Sri Lakshmi Grand Udupi Hotel, Beside BBR Hospital, Balanagar, on 29 June 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

  “FBO was found operating without valid license.”

• Spoiled raw material

  “Carrots were found rotten & damaged and hence discarded on the spot.”

• Labelling

  “Packed paratha (ready to cook) without any label on it.”

• Premises hygiene

  “Cobwebs were found above grinding area and premises found untidy.”

• Food handlers

  “Few food handlers were found without wearing headgear, gloves and aprons.”

• Pests

  “Insect proof screen not available to avoid entry of pests. The doors of the kitchen were not close fitted.”

• Records and certificates

  “Medical fitness certificates for food handlers and pest control records not available.”
