SKR Food Products

In a post dated 20 November 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting SKR Food Products, Katedan, on 19 November 2024 and said its licence was suspended. Its findings are quoted below.

• Records and certificates

  “Medical fitness certificates for food handlers, Pest control records and Water analysis reports not available with FBO.”

• Premises hygiene

  “Manufacturing premises found highly unhygienic and water stagnation observed in the premises.”

• Adulteration

  “1000 kgs of Ginger Garlic paste seized on suspicion of adulteration and substandard quality. Samples collected and sent to lab for detailed analysis.”

• Premises hygiene

  “Loose plastering flakes and shedding particles observed on roof above grinding and packing area.”

• Pests

  “Premises found to be open to outside environment without any insect proof screens.”
