Shree Balaji Family Dhaba

In a post dated 21 July 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Shree Balaji Family Dhaba, Ganesh Nagar Colony, Vanasthalipuram, on 20 July 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

• Expired stock

  “Food articles like Button Mushrooms, Tutti Fruti & Preserved Karonda were found expired and hence discarded on the spot.”

• Licence

  “During the course of inspection, it was found that the food delivery app and the FBO are also taking orders online using expired FSSAI license with a similar premises name.”

• Food handlers

  “Food handlers were found wearing hairnets but not wearing aprons/ uniforms.”

• Storage and refrigeration

  “Raw food articles & semi prepared foods were found to be stored in unhygienic condition inside the refridgerator. The refridgerator was found to be rusted.”

• Premises hygiene

  “Dustbins were not found inside the kitchen premises and FBO using plastic bags for discarding the kitchen waste.”

• Records and certificates

  “Medical Fitness Certificates for food handlers and pest control records for premises were not available.”
