In a post dated 10 August 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Sahadeva Reddy Pure Ghee Sweets, Dilsukhnagar, on 9 August 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

  “Food articles (packed) like Namkeen, Mixture, Pickles that were meant for sale to the customers were not labelled with Preparation and Use by dates.”

• Labelling

  “Packed Chana Dal 50Kgs were found without Packing and Use by dates. Hence seized the stock.”

• Records and certificates

  “Medical fitness certificates for food handlers and pest control records for the establishment were not available.”

• Pests

  “Doors were not close fitted and windows not fitted with insect proof screen in store and kitchen areas to avoid entry of pests.”
