Natural Flavors

In a post dated 17 April 2025, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Natural Flavors, Tirumala Towers, Ameerpet, on 16 April 2025 and said closure was proposed. Its findings are quoted below.

The authority's words “Establishments operating without a valid FSSAI license/registration will be CLOSED, after giving notice as per the FSS Act, 2006.”

  “FBO running the business without license.”

• Records and certificates

  “There are no pest control records, medical records and water analysis reports.”

• Expired stock

  “Expired fruit syrups were found such as pineapple crush, blackcurrant crush, orange crush, blue curraco, banana crush etc.”

• Labelling

  “Soda bottles were unlabelled - without any manufacturing and expiry date.”

• Pests

  “Several cockroaches were found in the refrigerator.”

• Food handlers

  “Food handler was not wearing any head cap or apron.”

• Premises hygiene

  “Dustbins were found open.”
