In a post dated 5 August 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Mysore Ghee Stores, Sultan Bazaar, Koti, on 3 August 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

  “Packed food articles like Dry Fruits, Butter & Ghee were found without proper labels like FSSAI license no. & use by dates.”

  “Ghee (1kg pkts - 50 No.s) were found without any label and hence seized the stock.”

• Records and certificates

  “Medical Fitness Certificates for food handlers and pest control records for the premises are not available with FBO.”

• Food handlers

  “Food handlers were found without haircaps and gloves.”
