Kakatiya Military Hotel

In a post dated 3 October 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Kakatiya Military Hotel, Patancheru, on 1 October 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

  “FBO found operating the food business without valid FSSAI license.”

• Pests

  “Live cockroach infestation observed inside kitchen premises & store room.”

• Storage and refrigeration

  “Food articles stored inside the refrigerator were not covered and not labelled properly. Refrigerator also found in highly unhygienic condition.”

• Expired stock

  “Mustard Sauce, Poppy Seeds, Pepper Masala, 8 to 8 Sauce were found beyond Use by dates/expiry date. Hence discarded on the spot.”

• Pests

  “Doors are not close fitted to avoid entry of pests. Drains found with spillage and water stagnation.”

• Records and certificates

  “Medical Fitness Certificates for food handlers, Pest Control Records for premises & Water analysis report for water used in food preparation not available.”
