In a post dated 29 June 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting JNTU, Sultanpur, Sangareddy, on 28 June 2024 and said a notice was issued. Its findings are quoted below.

  “Maida (15kg) was found to be infested with black beetles and hence discarded.”

• Spoiled raw material

  “Fungal infested vegetables (25kg) were identified and discarded.”

• Pests

  “Store room found to be unhygienic with rodents and excessive presence of rat excreta.”

• Premises hygiene

  “Kitchen, Wash area and dining area found to be in unhygienic conditions.”

• Food handlers

  “Food handlers were found without head caps, aprons and medical records.”

• Water

  “RO water plant found to be not working.”
