Jampanas Vaarahi Hotel

In a post dated 30 June 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Jampanas Vaarahi Hotel, Kukatpally Y Junction, on 29 June 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

• Licence

  “FBO was found operating with registration certificate even though his turnover comes under the license category.”

• Storage and refrigeration

  “Frozen chicken found not stored according to the temperature mentioned on it's label.”

• Food handlers

  “Food handlers were found without wearing headgear, gloves and aprons.”

• Pests

  “Proper insect proof screen not available to avoid entry of pests. Doors of the kitchen were not close fitted.”

• Premises hygiene

  “The 2nd kitchen was found open to the outside environment without any covering sideways to avoid entry of dust or flies.”

• Records and certificates

  “Medical fitness certificates for food handlers and pest control records for premises not available.”
