Instahot Foods Pvt Ltd (Supplier for Indigo airlines and Exporter)

In a post dated 13 February 2025, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Instahot Foods Pvt Ltd (Supplier for Indigo airlines and Exporter), IDA Patancheru, on 12 February 2025 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

• Storage and refrigeration

  “Improper storage measured followed like storing on ground, use of rusted racks and no FIFO method.”

• Expired stock

  “Expired food articles including Kasturi Methi (1.25kg), Mustard seeds (0.5kg), Rai Mota (1kg) were found and discarded.”

• Labelling

  “Nutmeg (1.5kg) were found with labelling violations like no MRP, Batch No. and Date of packing and hence seized.”

• Storage and refrigeration

  “Few food articles were found stored on ground below a leaking air conditioner, which may lead to contamination of food articles.”

• Spoiled raw material

  “Few vegetables like tomatoes were found to be spoiled and in rotten condition.”

• Pests

  “Live cockroach infestation was observed in the cooking area and grinding unit.”

• Premises hygiene

  “The flooring was found to be patchy and littered with food waste. Drains were found clogged.”

• Premises hygiene

  “Dustbins are not maintained. Food waste was found dumped in plastic bags.”

• Water

  “Water analysis is being done non-NABL laboratory and hence not acceptable.”

• Records and certificates

  “Latest records of testing of packing material is not available.”
