In a post dated 19 August 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Hoy Punjab, Gachibowli, on 17 August 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

  “Medical fitness certificates of food handlers were not available.”

• Water

  “Water analysis reports for RO water, which was being provided to customers, were not available.”

• Storage and refrigeration

  “Veg biryani, which was prepared the previous day, was found to be stored. Hence discarded.”

• Other finding

  “Oil found to be overused with greasy appearance. Hence discarded.”

• Premises hygiene

  “⁠Store room found to be narrow and no proper ventilation.”

• Water

  “Customised drinking water bottles (330 No.s) supplied by Jalousie Industries were seized for having very low TDS Levels (39 ppm).”
