Hotel Hyderabad Grand

In a post dated 3 August 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Hotel Hyderabad Grand, Shamshabad, on 2 August 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

  “FSSAI true license copy not displayed at prominent place.”

• Expired stock

  “Food articles like Red chilli sauce, Sweet chilli sauce, Coconut milk, Rose water, Fish masala and Thyme were found to be expired. Hence discarded on the spot.”

• Labelling

  “Food articles like Dust tea (20kg) and BBQ sauce (2kg) were seized for labelling violations.”

• Colours and additives

  “Synthetic food colours were found in the store and hence discarded.”

• Labelling

  “Semi prepared and stored food articles were covered but not labelled with preparation and used by dates.”

• Records and certificates

  “Medical fitness certificates for the food handlers were not available and Water analysis reports of RO water not available with FBO.”
