Head Quarters Rest-o-Bar

In a post dated 22 May 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Head Quarters Rest-o-Bar, Somajiguda, on 21 May 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

  “FBO found using synthetic food colors, hence discarded on the spot.”

• Labelling

  “Unlabeled Pizza base (50 No.s), Garlic Bread (5 Pkts), Noodles (5kg) worth Rs.1600 were discarded.”

• Storage and refrigeration

  “Improper storage of veg and non-veg food in refrigerator.”

• Food handlers

  “Food handlers found without wearing any haircaps, gloves, aprons and medical fitness certificates.”

• Premises hygiene

  “Kitchen premises found open to outside environment without proper mesh/barrier to avoid entry of pests or flies and Dustbins found open without lids.”
