In a post dated 3 September 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Haiku Restaurant, Banjara Hills, on 2 September 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

  “Floor found slippery and drains were stagnated with water and food waste in the kitchen.”

• Expired stock

  “⁠The food articles like cumin seeds, black sesame, tamarind and red lotus flour were found expired. Hence discarded.”

• Labelling

  “Some food articles stored inside the refrigerators were not labelled.”

• Premises hygiene

  “⁠Tiles inside the kitchen found broken.”
