Golden Pears - The Multicuisine Restaurant

In a post dated 23 August 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Golden Pears - The Multicuisine Restaurant, Aramgarh, on 21 August 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

• Licence

  “The FBO found operating with registration certificate instead of state license.”

• Records and certificates

  “Pest control records and Medical fitness certificates for food handlers were not available with the FBO.”

• Pests

  “Windows found open to the outside environment and houseflies observed inside kitchen premises.”

• Storage and refrigeration

  “Raw mutton pieces spillage observed inside refrigerator and it is found to be in highly unhygienic condition.”

• Expired stock

  “Expired Milk Packets (4 No.s) worth were found and discarded on the spot. Unlabelled Ghee packets found inside store area.”

• Colours and additives

  “FBO is suspected of using synthetic food colors in non-veg starters and hence discarded the food colors on the spot.”

• Food handlers

  “Few of the food handlers found without haircaps and aprons.”
