Dar Al Mandi

In a post dated 23 August 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Dar Al Mandi, Aramgarh, on 21 August 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

• Licence

  “FBO failed to provide the FSSAI license copy during Inspection. It is found that Swiggy food delivery app is managing orders for this establishment with inactive/expired license.”

• Records and certificates

  “FBO available at the counter during inspection failed to provide the pest control records and medical fitness certificates for food handlers.”

• Premises hygiene

  “Kitchen premises found to be highly unhygienic with patchy flooring and drain water stagnation.”

• Pests

  “Kitchen premises found open to the outside environment without any insect proof screen and doors not close fitted to avoid entry of pests. Houseflies observed inside the kitchen.”

• Food handlers

  “Few of the food handlers were found without haircaps, aprons and gloves.”

• Colours and additives

  “Suspected use of synthetic food colors in non-veg food articles. Hence discarded on the spot.”

• Premises hygiene

  “No dustbins found at the premises and it is found that FBO is using carry bags for depositing kitchen waste.”
