Capital Multicuisine Restaurant

In a post dated 9 August 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Capital Multicuisine Restaurant, Malakpet, on 7 August 2024 and did not report an action specific to it. Its findings are quoted below.

  “Medical fitness certificates of the food handlers and pest control records were not available with FBO.”

• Pests

  “Doors and windows of the kitchen were not close fitted with insect proof screens.”

• Storage and refrigeration

  “Refrigerators found to be very unhygienic and stored food articles not covered and not labelled.”

• Pests

  “Live cockroach infestation and house flies were found and possible rat infestation observed inside the kitchen.”

• Colours and additives

  “Synthetic food colours usage observed in Biryani and non veg items. Hence discarded on the spot.”

• Food handlers

  “Food handlers found without wearing head caps, gloves and aprons.”

• Premises hygiene

  “FBO found to be using garbage covers instead of dust bins.”

• Labelling

  “Bakery items like Bread and Bun prepared, packed and sold at the premises found without any labels.”
