Bal Kishan Milk Bhandar

In a post dated 27 July 2024, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana reported inspecting Bal Kishan Milk Bhandar, Begum Bazaar, on 26 July 2024 and said a notice would be issued. Its findings are quoted below.

• Licence

  “The FBO found operating without any valid FSSAI License or Registration.”

• Food handlers

  “Food handlers were found without any hairnet and gloves.”

• Storage and refrigeration

  “Diary products like malai and milk were not covered properly and houseflies were found hovering around them.”

• Records and certificates

  “Medical Fitness Certificates for food handlers and pest control records for the premises are not available with FBO.”

• Labelling

  “FBO found packing loose milk procured from vendor's diary farm, at the premises but not labelling them with use by dates.”
